The memorial has multiple ways we honor firefighters who have served in the Missouri Fire Service. Please read the descriptions below to help you decide which type of honors you would like to request.
Annual Memorial Services
We want to honor all Missouri firefighters that have passed. Every year the Fire Fighters Memorial Foundation of Missouri holds a Sunday morning memorial service as well as a candlelight service at the memorial to honor those who have fallen in the line of duty. Please submit their information and we will proudly honor them in our yearly memorial services.
Wall of Honor (LODD)
This wall honors those Missouri firefighters who have died in the line of duty. Your assistance will be required to fill out the application form so that the information about the deceased is accurate.
Distinguished Service Walls
These walls honor Missouri firefighters who have served 10 or more years in the fire service. Many of our past members of the fire service are deserving of recognition for their commitment to the service. If you know someone who has passed away with 10 years or more service to a fire department please let us know about them. Share this information with family members. Engraving fees apply.
Brick Walk of Honor
The brick walk of honor is supported by donations. Anyone can buy a brick and support our cause. Engraving fees apply.
Field of Flags Memorial
Every year a field of flags are flown during the memorial services at the Firefighters Memorial in Kingdom City, Missouri. Flags are raised in mid-September and lowered after the ceremonies in a timely manner. You can designate a flag to be flown in memory, honor, or appreciation of an individual you choose. If you would like to have your flag mailed to you after being flown we provide that service for an additional fee.
